A big fire broke out today, Sunday, in a historic maritime dock in the port of San Francisco, USA.
And the firefighting authority said that the fire broke out on Saturday morning (American time) in a storage facility on the historic pier "Bear 45" for an unknown reason.
She added that there were material losses caused by the fire.
About 150 firefighters rushed to control the fire. The fire department added that one of the firefighters was injured during the fire extinguishing process, the authorities said.
The broadcast pictures showed a burning fire and billowing smoke.
"Pier 45" also berths the American military ship Jeremiah O'Brien, which belongs to the period of World War II and was not damaged by the fire.
