For Christophe and me, it all started ... in a nightclub. I was 17 years old and I accompanied my best friend: we danced, we had fun, we drank (a little) and then, around 3 am, I met the eyes of this guy, a big brown with green eyes.

Immediately, I felt something pass between him and me. My heart started pounding: I had never felt anything like this before. I approached him and we danced together for the rest of the night ... I had butterflies in my stomach, and the desire that this magic moment would never end!

Problem: at that time, I was in a relationship and I wanted to remain faithful. So, nothing happened between Christophe and me, even when he kindly accompanied me back to my apartment. But this guy (who was 29 at the time) never left my mind ...

Two days later, I broke up with my boyfriend. Our couple was no longer working and I was really afraid of missing out on this unexpected “love at first sight”. I was like, "What if he was the man in my life? "

The day after I broke up, I went crazy: I invited Christophe to the restaurant, with a few friends. Of course, he agreed: I asked him to confirm my appointment before 8 p.m. and he waited until 7:59 p.m. to make a phone call. Suffice to say that I was a ball of nerves next to my phone!

At first, in the restaurant, the atmosphere was a little embarrassed. And finally, it relaxed and I had a great evening: we laughed, we talked like two old friends and his gaze was riveted to mine. On the way back, as he accompanied me, we exchanged our first kiss. The first of a long series...

Our beautiful story has been going on for 17 years now. And the love is still there! Besides, when we are both, we still have little sparkles in our eyes ... We always did everything together: we were forced to separate twice (three days on the occasion of 'a death, three days for work) and each time it was a heartbreak.

Our longevity secret? Nothing too rocket science: when we have a problem, we discuss it. We do not flee conflicts. Otherwise, we trust each other (he goes out without me, I go out without him), we make compromises (this is the basis when we are two) and we are very accomplices (we are often done notice, by the way). This is the strength of our couple.
